Located in a rural and wooded area of the Montérégie region close to the U.S. border, the Hemmingford Golf Club offers two 18-hole courses for golf enthusiasts, one open to the public, the other private for its members.

It is the latter, the Village course, that Prestige Golf offers you the opportunity to play. A magnificent championship course of 6655 yards, classic style, in an enchanting setting, with fairways and greens of great quality, is offered to you.

Several dog leg holes, well defined by lush nature, with well-cleaned undergrowth, some long par three, a lot of variety and challenges will make you live a unique experience, where sporting and strategic skills will have to be reconciled.

And, good news, new owners acquired the club in 2019, multiplying investments since, both in terms of the main club house and the golf courses. The Hemmingford Golf Club, a small detour that you must encounter in 2023!

The original 18 of its 27 holes were designed by Willie Park Jr.—a member of the World Golf Hall of Fame—Islesmere is a tree-lined, narrow, strategic course; patience is truly a virtue here. Renowned Quebec course architect Howard Watson later added the other
nine holes. 

Islesmere has held many professional tournaments over the years, including the men’s and women’s Canadian Opens, two Canadian PGA Championships, the Quebec Open, and the Montreal Open. This year, Islesmere celebrates its 100 years anniversary.

Designed in the late 1960’s by golf architect John Watson and built on a peaceful and densely wooded site, this 18-hole par 72 course is an interesting challenge for all categories of golfers.

Not excessively long by today’s standards, it is nonetheless an excellent golf test, with its narrow fairways and its undulating greens which are very well-protected by strategically positioned water hazards and bunkers.

Formerly known as the Île Perrot Golf Club, it has changed its name in 2013 when new owners acquired it. One of the best kept secret in the Montreal area for several years, the Windmill Heights Golf Club offers excellent playing conditions and now wants to stand out to become one of the crown jewels of the metropolitan area.
